Asian Representation in Opera

Our panel discussions provide opportunities for opera lovers and novices alike to explore concepts and topics related to the artform of opera and the productions we present. Many of these talks are presented free and online, in addition to free and fee-based events at locations throughout the Bay Area. These panel discussions increase access to educational content and create a context for dialogue and a deeper understanding of the productions. 

Join us for the Asian Representation in Contemporary Culture panel discussion featuring a diverse group of local AAPI scholars, artists, and performers as they reflect on the representation of Asians in contemporary culture. This panel is an ancillary event for our mainstage production of Madame Butterfly.
