SAN FRANCISCO, CA (November 12, 2025) — San Francisco Opera's 103rd season continues with a variety of opera performances and concerts. Along with Richard Wagner’s Parsifal (closing November 13) and the world premiere of Huang Ruo and David Henry Hwang’s The Monkey King (November 14–30), November brings two annual, year-end concerts showcasing the Company's resident artists, orchestra and chorus.

THE FUTURE IS NOW: ADLERS IN CONCERT
November 21, Herbst Theatre

Taking place in Herbst Theatre on Friday, November 21, The Future Is Now concert features the 2025 Adler Fellows: sopranos Georgiana Adams, Caroline Corrales, Mary Hoskins and Olivia Smith; tenors Thomas Kinch and Samuel White; baritones Samuel Kidd and Olivier Zerouali; bass-baritone Jongwon Han; and pianists Julian Grabarek and Ji Youn Lee. Accompanied by the San Francisco Opera Orchestra under the baton of Ramón Tebar, who previously conducted The Future Is Now concert in 2023 and San Francisco Opera productions of L’Elisir d’Amore and La Bohème at the War Memorial Opera House, the Adlers will perform scenes and arias from operatic works, including classics by Mozart, Verdi, Wagner and Benjamin Britten. Omer Ben Seadia, who previously directed in 2024, returns as the stage director of this year’s concert.

The artists concluding their fellowships with this concert are third-year Adler Fellows Jongwon Han and Olivia Smith, second-year Adler Fellows Georgiana Adams, Caroline Corrales, Julian Grabarek and Samuel Kidd, and first-year Adler Fellow Samuel White.

Continuing in the program in 2026 as second-year Adler Fellows are Mary Hoskins, Ji Youn Lee and Olivier Zerouali while Thomas Kinch returns as a third-year Adler Fellow.

SAN FRANCISCO OPERA CHORUS IN CONCERT
November 23, Dianne and Tad Taube Atrium Theater

San Francisco Opera presents the acclaimed San Francisco Opera Chorus in concert at the intimate Dianne and Tad Taube Atrium Theater on the fourth floor of the Veterans Building on Sunday, November 23. Chorus Director John Keene conducts, and Associate Chorus Master Fabrizio Corona provides support at the piano for this afternoon of accompanied and a cappella choral works.

The 90-minute program (includes one intermission) features selections from the concert, sacred and opera repertoires, including music by Mendelssohn, Bellini, Donizetti, Lili Boulanger, Kerensa Briggs, Jake Runestad and Rosephanye Powell.
