William O'Neill

A native of Rhode Island, William O'Neill has been a member of the San Francisco Opera Regular Chorus since 2014. He made his solo debut as a Drunk in Showboat. Since then, he has appeared as Townsperson in Susannah, Trojan Chief in Les Troyens, featured soloist in Sweeney Todd, Moroccan Soldier in Two Women, a Courier in Manon, A Citizen in Pagliacci, Ernie in It's A Wonderful Life, and the cover for The Jailor in Tosca.

Regional roles include Angelotti at West Bay Opera, Colline with Pocket Opera, Masetto with West Edge Opera and Cinnabar Theater, Emile De Becque with Spreckles Performing Arts, Javert with Masterworks Chorale, and Bishop Claude Frollo with MTME.

Outside of performance, William is also a father, husband, voice teacher, stage director, choral conductor, and avid foodie. He is also a proud graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
