Neff, Erin

Erin Neff joined the San Francisco Opera chorus in 1996. She has sung numerous solo roles with the company including appearances in Rigoletto, The Bonesetter’s Daughter, and Simon Boccanegra, Elektra, Louise, and It's a Wonderful Life.

She has sung with West Edge, Santa Rosa Symphony, Opera Parallele, Earplay, Livermore Valley Opera, Composer’s Inc, Festival Opera and Sacramento Opera.

As a director, she has worked with the SF Opera Opera Parallèle, Mendocino Music Festival, Telluride Chamber Music Festival, Island City Opera and Opera Parallele. Ms. Neff also works collaboratively with visual and multimedia artists developing sound installations for museums and galleries.

She has worked with Artist Mike Arcega and Lewis de Soto. Her work has been seen at the SJICA, Oakland Museum, Stanford Gallery, Culver Center for the Arts, and Joshua Tree National Park. She has run a private voice studio for the last 28 years. Erin also works as an advocate for incarcerated women in the state of California.
