Baker, Elizabeth J. D.

Elizabeth J. D. BakerMezzo-soprano and San Francisco native Elizabeth J. D. Baker was thrilled to join the San Francisco Opera Chorus in 2015 and make her solo debut in Manon in 2017. Favorite roles include Cherubino (Le Nozze di Figaro), Sesto (La Clemenza di Tito), and Cleopatra (Giulio Cesare). In addition to composing and improvising music, Ms. Baker serves as president of the Board of Directors of Resource Renewal Institute (RRI.org) and hopes to lower the climate and environmental impacts of the art form we love.
