Pidduck, Chester

Chester has appeared in 18 solo roles with SF Opera since 2008. Favorites include Mr. Martini in It’s a Wonderful Life, Zimmerkellner in Arabella, Parpignol in La Boheme, and Nantucket Sailor in Moby Dick. Chester has also performed many lead roles with SF Opera Guild, and has performed in several productions with the Metropolitan Opera.

Other local roles include the roles of Almaviva in Il barbiere di Siviglia with Opera San Jose and the Mendocino Music Festival, Nemorino with West Bay Opera, and Rodolfo in La Boheme with Opera San Luis Obispo. He has also been tenor soloist in Carmina Burana with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra and the Sacramento Choral Society and Orchestra.

Young Artist programs include Glimmerglass Opera, Central City Opera, Nashville Opera, Opera Colorado, and Sarasota Opera. Chester also has been a soloist with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.
