Professional Singers/Teaching Artists
San Francisco Opera Guild will be touring the San Francisco Bay Area with in-school performances of Puccini’s La Bohème.This 45-minute reduction of the classic opera consists of musical excerpts and spoken dialogue (both in English) using qualified professional singers in the four leading roles of Mimi (soprano), Musetta (soprano), Rodolfo (tenor), and Marcello (baritone), with students from each school in smaller spoken roles. The production will be triple cast to accommodate the large volume of performances.
Artists must provide their own housing and transportation to schools throughout the Greater Bay Area and be available Mon-Fri (9:00am-2:00pm) for the entire length of contract.

Bryan Education Studio, 4th floor, Veterans’ Building, 401 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco
Applicants will be expected to prepare required musical excerpts from La Bohème. An accompanist will be provided.
Proof of vaccination and Photo ID required for in-person auditions.
Safe social-distancing protocols will be in place. Masks required.
Weekday daytime coachings/rehearsals: August 21-September 28
School performance dates: October 3-December 2
Public performance dates: December 7-8 (TBC)
